Job Summary
Senior Database Administrator to design, implement, and maintain database structures and schemas for MSSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB; write reusable, efficient stored procedures; implement low-latency, high-availability solutions with procedures, functions, triggers, and jobs; monitor and optimize performance via query tuning and indexing; ensure security with roles, permissions, and auditing; perform backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning; collaborate with development teams to optimize queries and support application performance; provide production and development environment support, data modeling, data migration, and integration tasks; maintain documentation and stay current with industry best practices; report generation required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate with minimum 6 years experience as a DBA
- Strong knowledge of MSSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
- Experience with database design principles
- Experience with backup and recovery techniques
- Experience with performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization
- Familiarity with cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database) is a plus
- Automation and scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for database management tasks
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of writing stored procedures, stored functions, MSSQL Job Agent
