Job Summary
Design data warehouse solutions driven by business demand by analysing and documenting source systems, identifying required data sources, and profiling their contents. Create and maintain logical and physical data models, define source-to-target mappings, and document transformations, derivations, and calculations to ensure target model coherence. Work with the Platform Data Architect and Principal Data Designer to align models with the data roadmap, while supporting Data Engineers in implementation and Quality Engineers in testing. Provide guidance to junior team members on data modelling best practices and handle ad-hoc design or analysis work. The role requires intermediate-level SQL skills and 2+ years of data modelling experience. Based in Kraków with flexible hybrid working, the salary is 23,000-28,000 PLN gross per month.
Required Qualifications
- Intermediate-level SQL querying, including data profiling
- Strong attention to detail
- A proactive and curious mindset
- A collaborative approach to work
- 2 years experience as a data modeller or 5 years experience of working with data in data warehouses
- Data quality management experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of non-tabular data and event-based data processing
- Understanding of data lifecycle management
- Experience of working with data in Databricks
