Job Summary
Senior Data Solutions Developer responsible for leading data-driven decision-making, building and maintaining data warehousing solutions, and ensuring access to clean data across the company.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in data warehousing, data modeling, and/or analytics preferred
- Advanced SQL skills in both DML and DDL are required
- Experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT processes and common data transformation techniques (e.g. normalization and denormalization, string parsing, primary key generation)
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with database platforms like Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery or similar
- Intermediate Python skills plus scripting in 1 or 2 other languages (BASH/Python/JavaScript/etc)
- Experience with Airflow is a plus
- Familiarity with dimensional data modeling techniques (snowflake and star schemas, fact tables, slowly changing dimensions, periodic snapshot tables, surrogate keys, etc.)
- Exposure to Amazon Web Services or Linux command
Additional Requirements
- Position located in Austin, TX (2 days onsite a week)
