Job Summary
Develop and deploy data science solutions leveraging Python for petabyte-scale data processing on supercomputing resources. Utilize Linux for development and model deployment while collaborating with data engineers to improve data collection, quality, and access. Write clean, testable, maintainable code and document processes for transparency. Prioritize tasks efficiently using Scrumban techniques and adapt solutions to meet project requirements. This role supports national security missions through automation and insightful data products, requiring an Active TS/SCI clearance and a degree in a quantitative field.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics or other quantitative field
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience as a Data Scientist/Engineer or advanced analytical role
- Programming knowledge in Python or similar language
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with both Linux and Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of CI/CD and Agile methodologies
- Understanding of software design and system integration
