Job Summary
Develop machine learning and statistical models for fraud prevention, risk scoring, and credit underwriting by analyzing large-scale behavioral and transactional datasets to identify patterns and anomalies. Design experiments to evaluate model performance, partner with engineering to deploy solutions into production, and monitor live systems for drift. Lead retraining cycles and collaborate with product teams to translate business problems into modeling solutions. Requires a bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, five years of data science experience, and strong Python and SQL skills. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in data science
- Strong expertise in Python
- Strong expertise in SQL
- hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as scikitlearn, XGBoost, PyTorch, or TensorFlow
- Solid foundation in classical machine learning
- Solid foundation in statistical modeling
- Solid foundation in experiment design
- Experience taking models from notebook to production
- Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
