Senior Data Scientist

Senior Data Scientist responsible for developing and deploying large-scale ML and GenAI-powered products and pipelines. Own all stages of the data science project lifecycle, including developing, deploying, monitoring, and scaling models into production; perform exploratory data analysis, experimentation, and model benchmarking; collaborate with business leaders, domain experts, and end-users to gather requirements and align on success metrics; adhere to coding standards, perform code reviews, and optimize data science workflows; communicate results to executive stakeholders. Proficient in Python (NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TF2, Hugging Face Transformers), NLP architectures, SQL, and deployment tools (Airflow, Flask/Django/FastAPI). Experience with large language models, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, embedding-based retrieval, and end-to-end GenAI or advanced NLP projects (NER, table extraction, OCR integrations, or GNN solutions). Comfortable with end-to-end productionization of AI applications and evaluating emerging technologies. Demonstrated ability to perform independent research and translate current AI/ML advances into production-ready solutions; 5+ years of AI or quantitative modeling experience; advanced degree (Master or higher). Right to work in the USA. Hybrid work arrangement with two onsite days per week for locations in Charlottesville, NY, and Princeton.
