Job Summary
Design and develop high-quality Python libraries for machine learning applications, building reusable packages that serve multiple teams. Implement robust testing frameworks and enhance CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment in a cloud-native environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support GPU-accelerated workloads, optimise computational efficiency, and apply observability practices. Work with Docker and Kubernetes to containerise and orchestrate applications while contributing to speech technology projects. This six-month hybrid role in Krakow combines software engineering excellence with data science expertise.
Required Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in data science, software engineering or related fields
- Deep understanding of the Python ecosystem and its libraries
- Strong experience building and maintaining Python packages
- Hands-on experience with software testing practices including unit and integration testing
- Proven experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to write clean, maintainable and well-documented code
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks, particularly PyTorch
- Understanding of GPU-accelerated workloads and computational optimisation
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerisation and orchestration
- Knowledge of observability practices for monitoring and debugging
- Exposure to speech technologies or similar specialised machine learning applications
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
