Job Summary
Senior Data Scientist to join Justworks in Product Analytics. Lead end-to-end analytics projects from metrics definition to delivering insights; partner with product, engineering, design, finance, marketing, and revenue to define and measure goals; design and analyze A/B tests, quasi-experiments, and causal analyses to assess the impact of product changes; accelerate product learning through frameworks for experimentation, measurement, and iteration; translate findings into actionable strategies and compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences; collaborate with data engineering to instrument key events and ensure the right data exists to answer questions; develop AI-assisted approaches to analysis and expand the reach of data science across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a data scientist or analyst
- Strong expertise in experimental design, causal inference, and statistical methods
- Excellent communication and data storytelling skills
- Strong business acumen and ability to connect analysis to product strategy
- Proficient in at least one statistical programming language (Python or R)
- Fluent in SQL
- Familiarity with a cloud-based data stack (e.g. Snowflake, dbt)
- Demonstrated curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies
- Prior experience in a high-growth startup or SaaS company is preferred
