Job Summary
Senior Data Scientist – Inventory 360 to lead the development of ML and operations research–based models that optimize inventory flow and fulfillment decisions across merchandising and inventory planning. You will tackle forecasting, assortment planning, purchase order optimization, inventory allocation, and price optimization using techniques including mixed-integer programming, dynamic programming, graph theory, spatial optimization, and simulation, and you’ll integrate predictive models with optimization logic to enable adaptive, data-driven decisions. You’ll build robust decision engines and real-time pipelines, collaborate with product and engineering teams to deploy models into production, ensure interpretability and auditable results, and communicate insights to technical and nontechnical stakeholders. Preferred candidates hold advanced degrees (MS/PhD) and have 4+ years of experience in related domains, with a strong foundation in OR/ML, ecommerce or retail fulfillment, and experience with Python-based ML tools, SQL, data engineering concepts, and cloud platforms.
