Job Summary
Senior Data Scientist responsible for helping define analytics strategy and building models and dashboards. Coordinate with teams to implement models, monitor outcomes and data accuracy, and leverage BI tools (Spotfire) for analysis and review. Develop data models and algorithms, apply statistical methods to use cases in an agile environment, collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities, and contribute to provisioning and data modelling initiatives. Requires 3-5 years of data manipulation experience and a Master's or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science, with Python and SQL (R welcomed). Prior exposure to clinical data or pharmaceutical domains is preferable. Strong communication and a passion for learning new technologies are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science
- 3-5 years of experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models
- Experience with Python & SQL (R considered)
- Experience with data architectures
- Experience in clinical data/domain (preferred)
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree, neural networks) and statistical concepts
- Excellent communication skills
- Drive to learn new technologies
