Senior Data Scientist - Family Experience

Senior Data Scientist for Roblox Family Experience leading data-science guided product decisions around parent linking, consent, and engagement. Shape the roadmap with strategic data science guidance, identify high-impact levers to improve parent links, engagement, and consent rates, and design/evaluate features across onboarding, linking, verification, consent, and Family Hub experiences. Apply experimentation and causal inference to understand how parent engagement influences child and family outcomes. Define success metrics and measurement frameworks, partner cross-functionally (Product, Engineering, Policy, Legal, UX Research) to turn ambiguous problems into clear decisions, translate friction points in the parent journey into actionable product recommendations, and communicate insights to leadership to drive prioritization and tradeoffs. You Have: 5+ years of industry experience in data science, economics, analytics, or machine learning engineering; 2+ years of experience using scripting languages (Python, R), and big data query/processing languages and tools such as SQL, Hive, Spark, and Airflow; Knowledge of ML and Deep Learning; Ability to apply creative first-principles reasoning; Experience developing large-scale safety or moderation systems; Advanced Degree and/or PhD in quantitative fields.
