Job Summary
Build sophisticated machine learning and deep learning models to optimize logistics, predict accurate delivery dates, and reduce shipping costs. Deploy AI-powered solutions using LLMs and RAG to solve complex carrier network challenges at eBay's global scale. Partner with product managers and engineers to integrate data-driven shipping intelligence into production, directly enabling an efficient post-purchase delivery journey for millions of users. Leverage advanced MLOps to deliver these services in a high-volume, low latency environment.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Years experience in analytics, data science role
- Strong Data & Analytics Skills
- Proficiency in SQL & Python for data wrangling, analytics, and automation
- Experience in building and operating Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Model solutions in large production scale environments
- Strong Communication
- Ability to turn complex findings into actionable recommendations for Product, AI, and Engineering teams
- Model Evaluation Know-How
- Ability to define metrics and evaluation frameworks for assessing ML-driven taxonomy and classification models
