Job Summary
Own full-funnel GTM analytics for a vertical team, from paid acquisition through first trade to repeat engagement. Partner with marketing on spend efficiency including CAC, ROAS, and channel mix to direct incremental dollars. Size and prioritize growth opportunities by evaluating leagues, events, and market types for investment returns. Design and read experiments across creative, lifecycle, and onboarding while building cohort, funnel, and retention analyses. Establish targets for your vertical and hold the team accountable to them. Work with analytics engineers to turn recurring analyses into durable models and write end-to-end documentation for the team.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years in growth, marketing, or product analytics, with a track record of owning a business area end-to-end
- Expert SQL. You can go from raw event tables to a defensible answer without help
- Deep fluency in full-funnel GTM metrics including CAC, ROAS, payback, conversion rate, retention, LTV, and the judgment to know when each one is misleading
- Experience embedded with marketing and product teams as a partner in the work, not a downstream request queue
- Comfort with ambiguity. You can scope a vague question into a real analysis and defend the assumptions you made along the way
- Strong communication. You can take a complex analysis to a non-technical audience and land the recommendation
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where business logic changes frequently and you need to keep pace
Desired Qualifications
- (Plus) Data science background: experimentation design, causal inference, or predictive modeling in Python or R
- (Plus) Genuine interest or expertise in one of our verticals, whether that is sports, crypto, or politics
- (Plus) Experience in fintech, crypto, prediction markets, or other data-intensive financial products
