Job Summary
Design and develop backend API endpoints and front-end components for the Risk & Analytics platform. Lead coding, testing, debugging, and monitoring of the front end while managing the implementation of FO/Risk requirements. Actively participate in technical meetings with other teams and departments, and support junior colleagues through mentoring. This role requires strong front-end skills with React, Angular, or Vue, plus back-end experience in C# or Python, and is situated within MET Group's European energy sector.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, Financial Engineering, or related field
- Strong front-end development skills and experience with a front-end framework such as React, Angular, Vue
- Technical/programming skills and knowledge of software design best practices
- Experience with back-end development with C# and or Python is a must
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with data visualization libraries/tools such as Plotly, ApexChart, D3.js is a plus
- Knowledge and interest in financial and commodity trading is a plus
