Job Summary
Lead the regional data protection and privacy programme across the UK Hub and associated international markets, acting as a trusted advisor on GDPR/POPIA/PDPL and embedding privacy requirements into business activities. Drive privacy and data protection initiatives, oversee DSAR processes and ROPA inventories, develop and maintain privacy policies and governance, deliver privacy awareness and training, and collaborate with stakeholders from operational teams to senior executives to support growth and compliance. Strong focus on privacy-by-design, risk management, cross-border collaboration, and influencing a diverse, international set of functions.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in data protection and privacy compliance in a commercial organisation
- Fluency in English and German
- Proven ability to manage high-volume, fast-moving portfolio of priorities and projects
- Experience leading complex compliance programmes across multiple stakeholders
- Strong communication, presentation and reporting skills
- Skilled in using OneTrust (DSAR, Inventory, Assessment, Cookie modules)
- Recognised privacy certification (e.g. ISEB, CIPP/E, CIPM); legal or data governance degree preferred
