Job Summary
Senior Data Product Scientist responsibilities include hands-on data science, modeling, and experimentation to understand data structures, mappings, and biases; building and evaluating ML approaches (including GenAI) for product decisions; designing model evaluation strategies and ensuring reproducibility; mentoring fellow scientists; translating data results into actionable insights for stakeholders; developing SaaS-minded data products, partnering with engineering for scalable solutions, and creating product briefs and enablement materials; training business users to interpret metrics and drive adoption; and maintaining rigorous analytical standards while supporting cross-functional workstreams.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in STEM or Quantitative field, or 6 additional years of relevant work experience
- 8+ years of experience in applied data science
- Strong coding ability (Python and SQL)
- Strong understanding of ML fundamentals and model evaluation
- Ability to operate autonomously, manage ambiguity, and drive end-to-end outcomes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
