Job Summary
Senior Data Platform Engineer to build a self-service Data Platform enabling teams to create data products easily and reliably. Responsibilities include evolving the platform for real-time analytics, batch processing, and machine learning; building and maintaining a secure, scalable, and compliant data infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and automation; enabling data ingestion, processing, and consumption at scale as self-service; mentoring teammates and driving engineering excellence. The role emphasizes platform scalability, performance, engineering productivity, and a cloud-first approach in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with one or more programming languages (Python, Go, Kotlin)
- Strong understanding of data engineering principles
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform)
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Excellent communication skills
