Job Summary
Join Okta's Enterprise Data Platform team as a Senior Data Engineer, responsible for building and maintaining performant data pipelines and models on the AI data platform using Snowflake, AWS, and dbt. Develop automated solutions for data classification and access control while ensuring compliance with security and governance standards. Collaborate with product managers and analysts to deliver high-quality data solutions, utilizing infrastructure as code (Terraform) for secure deployment. Bring over 5 years of engineering experience and proficiency in cloud data platforms while promoting best practices in code quality and system design.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of data engineering experience
- Strong experience with Snowflake and AWS
- Experience with data pipeline and orchestration tools like dbt, Airflow, or Fivetran
- Experience implementing security controls
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Databricks or similar tools
- Strong understanding of data governance principles
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub/GitLab
