Job Summary
Deliver high quality analytical and value-added services for clients while managing timelines, engaging business and technical consultants to align on solution delivery, and developing value propositions using customer insights. Apply data mining techniques, statistical analysis, and machine learning to build prediction systems and automated scores, partnering with sales teams to support product creation and ensure shared understanding across delivery teams. Requires 5 to 8 years of experience in core analytics within banking or consulting, including hands-on skills in Python, SAS, and statistical modeling frameworks. Reports to Senior Analytics Consultant in Mumbai.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years' experience
- Experience in the core analytics function of a large bank or consulting firm
- Experience handling large data volumes using data analysis tools
- Ability to generate good data insights
- Consultative business professional
- Clear and certain
- Experienced to partner with a sales team managing multiple opportunities concurrently
- Passionate and gracious
- High moral standards, and an ethical approach to doing business
- Analytical and ability to see the big-picture and develop conceptual solutions
- Experience helping companies grow
- Understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as Gradient Boost, KNN
- Knowledge of different modelling frameworks like Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Decision Tree
- Decent understanding and hands-on of statistical modelling/data analysis tools especially Python and SAS
- Applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression etc
Desired Qualifications
- Posses understanding of decisioning and portfolio management in banking and financial services
- Understanding of credit bureau
