Job Summary
Conduct complex data quality assessments across business processes, systems, and reporting environments to identify root causes, document impacts, and prioritize issues based on risk. Apply governance standards and policies within assigned initiatives while partnering with stakeholders to clarify requirements and ownership. Analyze monitoring results and control outputs to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities, contributing to assessments of data confidence within commercial domains. Independently manage assigned initiatives and analytical efforts, coordinating activities across stakeholders to achieve defined objectives and deliverables. Collaborate with business, data, and technology teams to translate findings into practical recommendations that balance needs, risk, and operational feasibility.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in data analysis, data quality, business analysis, or data governance within a commercial or financial services environment
- Understanding of business processes and their relationship to data creation, usage, and reporting
- Familiarity with data quality concepts, control frameworks, and operational processes
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and develop practical recommendations
- Ability to organize and analyze large amounts of information and draw meaningful conclusions
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex assignments from initiation through completion
- Ability to balance multiple priorities while meeting deadlines and quality expectations
- Experience working effectively in cross-functional environments
- Ability to communicate complex topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
