Job Summary
Senior Data Engineer role on the CSBB Deposits Data & Insights team. Responsible for leading moderately complex data initiatives, building and maintaining optimized data pipelines and a data warehouse environment to support reporting and analytics for CSBB and partner lines. Key duties include hands-on development, code reviews, QA of the BMG Data Warehouse platform, and contributing to Target State Cloud Platform Strategy, Roadmap, and Migration activities. Collaborate with colleagues and managers to resolve data engineering issues, design data models, manage data integration, and ensure compliance with data policies. Requires expertise across data processing frameworks, ETL/ELT tooling, SQL, advanced analytics, and strong communication and organizational skills. Strong preferences for experience with Spark, Teradata/SQL Server, Java/Python/Scala, cloud technologies (preferably GCP), AI tech implementations, Agile methodologies, and Unix environments. Ability to translate business requirements into data models and solutions, work in fast-paced sprint-driven environments, and drive data engineering deliverables to meet stakeholder needs.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of Data Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
