Job Summary
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Apache Spark, or Databricks. Develop optimized data models and architectures for warehousing and business intelligence with Power BI. Lead and mentor teams of Data Engineers, providing technical guidance to ensure project success. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand data needs and implement security and compliance measures. Stay current on industry trends to drive adoption of innovative techniques and foster continuous improvement. This role involves guiding multiple teams to transform raw data into actionable insights, leveraging Microsoft Azure's Data Analytics Platform.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
- 5 to 8 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure's Data Analytics Platform
- Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Apache Spark or Databricks, and Power BI
- Experience leading and managing teams of Data Engineers in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
