Job Summary
Senior Data Engineer at Thoughtworks responsible for building, maintaining, and testing data architectures and infrastructure for managing data applications. You will develop and operate modern data architecture to meet business objectives, create end-to-end data solutions, and build intricate data processing pipelines. You will collaborate with data scientists to design scalable model implementations, write clean code with TDD, and apply continuous delivery practices to deploy, support, and operate data pipelines. You will work with diverse storage and computing technologies, develop data models using various modeling techniques, and contribute to data governance, data security, and data privacy initiatives. You will incorporate data quality into daily work and engage in stakeholder management to ensure alignment on data-driven outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Databricks platform
- Experience with Gen/AI and LLMs
- Hands-on data pipeline development in distributed systems
- Experience with data modeling and modern data engineering tools
- Proficiency in clean, high-quality code in preferred programming language
- Experience deploying large-scale data pipelines and data-centric applications
- Experience with data visualization and communicating insights
- Experience with data-driven approaches and data security/privacy strategies
- Experience with SQL, NoSQL, data lake, and data schemas
