Job Summary
Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric while developing optimized SQL queries and procedures. Perform database administration tasks including user management, backups, indexing, and performance tuning to ensure data quality and reliability across systems. Monitor and troubleshoot pipelines, collaborate with cross-functional teams on robust data solutions, and document workflows using Azure cloud services and version control. This role requires 5–7 years of experience with strong ETL and SQL skills.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in Data Engineering or ETL Development
- Strong expertise in ETL tools like Azure Data Factory (ADF), Microsoft Fabric and Data Lake
- Proficiency in SQL Development
- Experience with data modelling, query optimisation, and database performance tuning
- Hands-on exposure to Azure, with working knowledge of Synapse and SQL
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD for data workflows
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
