Senior Data Engineer

Senior Data Engineer responsible for designing, building, and operating enterprise-grade data products that power analytics, reporting, and AI across Hershey’s business domains. Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs; design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and transformations using Azure and Databricks; implement ingestion frameworks and repeatable workflows; develop physical and semantic data models; apply performance tuning, security, and reliability practices; align with enterprise architecture and platform standards; embed governance through lineage, metadata, documentation, and automated data quality checks; collaborate with Domain SMEs, Platform Engineering, and Data Operations to ensure documentation, certification, and governance coverage. The role focuses on end-to-end lifecycle of data products from ingestion and modeling to certification and sustainable operations, contributing to a scalable, governed, and durable data ecosystem that supports analytics and AI across the enterprise.
