Job Summary
The Senior Data Engineer at Talkspace will lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance data architectures and models for batch and streaming data processing. Responsibilities include managing ETL/ELT processes, optimizing database systems for performance and scalability, and developing MLOps pipelines for machine learning models. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a related field, 4-6 years of experience in data engineering, and proficiency in Python, AWS, and SQL. Candidates should have experience with data warehouses like Redshift and ETL tools such as Airflow and DBT.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
- 4-6 years of experience in data engineering or related roles
- Strong track record of manipulating and managing large datasets using Python, AWS, and SQL
- Proven experience in designing, building, and optimizing data warehouses (Redshift)
- Extensive experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools
- Demonstrate ability to solve complex data challenges
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree preferred
- Experience with Airflow and DBT
- Experience with AWS CDK
- Experience with Google Looker
- Familiarity with Circle CI
