Job Summary
Senior Data Engineer with a Snowflake focus responsible for building scalable and secure data platforms. Design, develop, and implement data warehouses, data lakehouses, and AI/ML platforms using Snowflake, Azure, and/or AWS. Develop and maintain secure data warehouses/data lakehouses with high-quality data for decision making; implement data models, data quality checks, and governance. Build and deploy AI/ML models, integrate ML into data pipelines using Snowflake Snowpark, Cortex, and Marketplace to drive business insights. Design and build high-performance data pipelines with Snowflake, Python, and Apache Spark; collaborate with cross-functional teams in a collaborative, inclusive environment; stay current with evolving big data technologies and best practices. Hybrid work setup and flexible hours are supported to promote work-life balance.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Snowflake, Apache Spark, data pipeline development and familiarity with data warehousing concepts and practices
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform and tools like DBT or a strong willingness to learn these technologies
- Knowledge of SQL and Python and interest or experience with AI/ML concepts and tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, along with communication and teamwork abilities
- Passion for data and a growth mindset with curiosity to learn and develop
