Job Summary
Design and own the data platform and infrastructure powering transaction processing, analytics, and real-time insights for our global financial product. Build high-integrity systems using Python (FastAPI), AWS Lambda, Kinesis, Postgres, and Redis to capture, transform, and expose data, ensuring correctness and consistency. Define greenfield architecture, data models, and pipeline design from first principles while working closely with backend services and event streams. Requires 5+ years in data pipelines and experience in banking, credit, or fintech startups.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years building and shipping data pipelines and platforms
- Experience at banking/credit card/crypto/remittances/lending startups
- Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT, or event-driven systems
- Experience generally across the backend: working with Postgres, Redis, AWS, etc.
- Experience in financial technology
- Full-stack engineering skillset and ability to flex across other parts of the stack
