Job Summary
Build global and scalable Data Lakehouse solutions used by multiple trading desks at QRT. Contribute to software and infrastructure design and implementation in AWS cloud environment. Develop data pipelines in Python using data libraries and cloud SDKs. Model data within the Data Lake and OLAP for large volumes and high concurrency. Optimize performance of the data lake and OLAP databases across regions. Ensure data completeness and quality across critical pipelines. Build and support tailored data solutions for Quants and Traders.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience building data platforms
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- C++ proficiency is a big plus
- Experience contributing to cloud infrastructure
- Ability to build a structured approach to problem-solving
- Independent and autonomous while a strong team player
- Intellectual curiosity and quick learning
- Finance experience is highly desirable
