Job Summary
Senior Data Engineer – Product Delivery responsible for designing, implementing, and managing ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses for reporting and analytics. Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory/Synapse and Snowflake; collaborate with data architects and analysts to define data requirements and ensure data quality; monitor ETL jobs and maintain documentation; participate in data modeling and database design. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5–8 years of ETL experience, with strong SQL skills, proficiency in Python or Shell, and expertise with Azure data services and Snowflake. Must be able to work across Agile development, applications development, support, and deployment environments. Location: Bangalore, India.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5 to 8 years of experience as an ETL Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of ETL tools – ADF, Synapse
- Snowflake experience is mandatory
- Multi cloud experience is a plus
- Proficient in SQL for data manipulation and querying
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and methodologies
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment
- Expert level experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Azure Blob, Azure Storage Explorer, snowflake, Snowpark
