Job Summary
Senior Data Engineer at UL Solutions, remote-based role available for Italy or Poland, focused on growing data maturity. Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehousing from diverse sources (including legacy databases and documents). Collaborate with product, technology, and management to validate and extend the data platform, leveraging Azure BI Stack and Power BI for visualization. Build scalable data processing solutions, automate testing and CI/CD, and manage data pipeline infrastructure to enable data-driven analysis and automation in a multidisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- Senior Data Engineer experience
- proven track record developing ETL/ELT pipelines
- experience with data warehousing
- experience with Azure BI Stack and Power BI
- ability to collaborate with product, technology teams, and management
- proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement in data processing and orchestration
- experience designing scalable data solutions
- experience with automated test-driven development, CI/CD, and version control
- ability to manage, monitor, and troubleshoot data pipeline infrastructure
