Job Summary
Senior Data Engineer on the Neoanalytics Platform responsible for designing, building, and optimizing near real-time data pipelines with Databricks, architecting data models for enterprise Power BI deployments, migrating legacy data, establishing data quality and governance, and collaborating with US stakeholders and an India-based engineering team to deliver customer-facing data solutions and drive analytics across biopharma client portfolios.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or closely related field
- Expert-level Databricks experience including pipeline architecture, performance tuning, and near real-time streaming
- Deep expertise in data modeling and architecture for enterprise Power BI deployments
- Advanced SQL with SQL Server experience; strong Python and/or Scala programming
- Working knowledge of AWS for cloud infrastructure and storage integration
- Proven DataOps experience, version control (Git), and robust data quality frameworks
- Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and present technical concepts to client stakeholders across time zones
