Job Summary
Senior Data Engineer responsible for owning and developing the data pipelines and core data models for Marcura's AI-first data engineering organization. Work across the data stack to ensure accurate, timely, and complete data for stakeholders and customers, enabling AI models, dashboards, spreadsheets, and CRM tools. Key duties include shipping production dbt models on cloud data warehouses, owning end-to-end data pipelines from ingestion to BI consumption, and collaborating with non-technical stakeholders to deliver useful datasets. The role emphasizes leveraging LLMs to write code and guiding AI agents to execute tasks efficiently, with a focus on impactful data solutions and scalable data infrastructure. Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years experience in a hands-on data engineering or analytics engineering role, ideally in a B2B SaaS or B2B data product environment
- Demonstrated experience shipping production dbt models on a cloud data warehouse (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or similar)
- Track record of owning data pipelines end-to-end — from source ingestion through transformations to BI/consumption layer — and partnering directly with non-technical stakeholders to deliver useful datasets
- You have spent the past six months using LLMs to write code and know how to direct an AI agent to get work done efficiently, and what work requires your judgement
