Job Summary
Senior Data Engineer responsible for owning and evolving the end-to-end data platform, including architecture, build, maintenance, security, and governance. Drive data pipelines with automated validation to ensure data integrity, transform legacy reporting into a secure, observable Airflow-powered platform, define data quality metrics, and champion AI and modern tooling with hands-on ML product experience. Must lead initiatives across data engineering matters, collaborate with stakeholders to unlock fleet analytics value, and continually push for scalable, market-leading data solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in a data engineering or data science role
- Advanced Python (PySpark or Polars) and SQL across multiple flavours
- Hands-on experience building and shipping ML products
- Deep familiarity with Azure Data Lake and file-based storage architectures
- Strong Git discipline and version control best practices
- A genuine advocate for AI and its adoption
- Proactive builder with scalable solutions
