Job Summary
Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and cloud-based solutions using AWS, Snowflake; implement ETL/ELT pipelines and data models to support analytics, dashboards, and operational consumption. Role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring data quality and monitoring, and delivering CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins in an Agile environment. In-person interview at HQ in Windsor Mill, MD; U.S. citizenship or residency for government clients required; 10+ years of relevant experience and a strong background with Snowflake, Python, SQL, AWS, and data warehousing. Prior government experience and fraud-detection systems are a plus, with emphasis on secure, scalable, and cost-optimized data solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with ten or more years of experience as Data System Architect, Engineer or similar role.
- Hands-on experience using Snowflake tools, SQL and Python is required.
- Strong proficiency in Snowflake, AWS services and GitHub for source control, branching, and reviews.
- Knowledge of data integration patterns, data warehousing, and modern data architecture.
- DevOps exposure, including CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Understanding of Data Lake concepts.
- Knowledge of Agile framework, Scrum methodologies and tools used to support them.
