Senior Data Engineer

Senior Data Engineer to design and evolve our next-generation data platform, leading architecture and the delivery of scalable data pipelines for batch, streaming, and near-real-time workloads. Own standards for data modeling, transformation, governance, lineage, quality, observability, and lifecycle management; evaluate modern data technologies and frameworks; collaborate with engineering and product leadership to shape the technical roadmap. Design, build, and manage data pipelines; modeling of clean data schemas to support analytics, BI, operational systems, and ML workflows; implement data quality, observability, and automated testing; build ingestion patterns from APIs, event streams, files, and third-party sources; optimize compute, storage, and transformation for performance and cost. Serve as a senior technical leader, mentor the data engineering team, lead architecture reviews, and partner with analysts, data scientists, software engineers, and product owners to deliver data solutions. Must have 6–10+ years of experience with Snowflake (mandatory), expert SQL and strong Python, experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster, Prefect), ELT/ETL, distributed processing, streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub), cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), and DataOps practices (CI/CD, testing, version control, automation). Nice-to-have: DBT, machine learning pipelines, Terraform, data governance tools.
