Job Summary

Data Platform Ownership: lead the build and maintenance of a new data platform using Dagster, dbt, AWS ECS, and Google BigQuery, delivering tooling, checks, connectors, cost controls, and CI/CD foundations. Core-ELT Pipelines: manage and optimize mission-critical pipelines moving data from MySQL on AWS to GBQ with minimal source-system impact. Core-Reports Delivery: own the most critical executive-facing reports and serve as a foundation for analytics across departments. You’ll work hands-on with high-volume data flows and modern data-stack (Dagster, dbt, GBQ, AWS ECS) and apply strong software engineering fundamentals (CI/CD, testing, design patterns) to data engineering. Requirements include expert-level SQL and Python, infrastructure knowledge (Docker, Terraform/CloudFormation), and a pragmatic, collaborative, ego-free mindset. Required Qualifications
