Job Summary
Senior Data Engineer to lead enterprise-scale data processing initiatives, architect platform features, mentor engineers, and implement AI-powered data solutions using Azure services. The role focuses on advanced technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, design of comprehensive data solutions, and driving strategic data initiatives aligned with enterprise objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative discipline; Master’s degree preferred
- 5-8 years of experience in data engineering with proven track record of technical leadership
- Demonstrated experience building enterprise-scale data solutions and frameworks
- Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical strategy
- Technical Skills & Competencies: Python, PySpark, Spark, Kafka, Azure data services (Databricks, Azure Functions, Event Hubs), relational data modeling, star schema, data warehousing, AI/automation
- Strong problem-solving and leadership capabilities; ability to mentor, influence, and drive cross-functional initiatives
