Job Summary
Senior Data Engineer to help lead the evolution of our modern data and analytics architecture. Responsible for ensuring the quality, integrity, reliability, governance, and scalability of the data ecosystem while driving architectural improvements. Design and implement modern data architectures, establish best practices for data integration and management, provide expert-level support for complex data infrastructure, mentor junior engineers, and develop enterprise documentation, standards, and reusable patterns. Bring 7+ years of data engineering experience, 5+ years of cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP), Python API development, strong SQL and ETL/ELT expertise, knowledge of Oracle/PostgreSQL/MySQL, Snowflake, RESTful APIs with Node.js, Docker/Kubernetes, and agile/CI/CD practices. Desired: experience with front-end technologies, enterprise data governance, cloud modernization initiatives, and leadership within distributed teams. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of data engineering experience, including data pipelines, ingestion, ETL/ELT, and large-scale data solutions
- 5+ years of cloud experience (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP)
- Advanced Python development for API, web, and data engineering applications
- Strong experience with ETL processes, SQL development, and data transformation
- Relational database technologies experience (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Experience with Snowflake and AWS-native analytics solutions
- Experience with RESTful APIs using Node.js
- Familiarity with REST and GraphQL API integrations
- Experience with Git and CI/CD
- Docker and Kubernetes technologies
- Agile development environments
