Job Summary
Implement and improve the company's future data processes and architecture by focusing on innovative, cloud-based services and automation concepts. Integrate business-relevant data into the data lake to promote data-based decisions while mentoring colleagues through pair programming and best practice exchanges. Identify and implement new methods, technologies, and trends to enhance infrastructure scalability and performance. Work within an agile, international team using modern frameworks like Apache Spark and orchestration tools such as Airflow.
Required Qualifications
- practical experience in modern data processing and analysis frameworks such as Apache Spark
- extensive knowledge of Scala, Python or Java
- deep understanding of SQL and ETL processes
- familiarity with data warehousing and cloud-based architecture and orchestration solutions such as Airflow
- business fluent in English
