Job Summary
Design modern data architectures using Medallion patterns and optimize batch and streaming pipelines with Kafka, Spark, and Databricks. Integrate Unity Catalog and AI/BI Genie while ensuring governance, security, and compliance in cloud environments. Support customer demos and presales initiatives alongside DevOps processes, including CI/CD automation and Terraform infrastructure management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in agile projects to translate technical solutions into business contexts. This senior role involves working within a global strategy and software engineering team to drive data-driven transformation.
Required Qualifications
- Studium in (Wirtschafts-) Informatik, Mathematik, Physik, Statistik oder einem vergleichbaren Bereich
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von Data-Engineering-Lösungen mit Databricks, Apache Spark, SQL und Cloud-Plattformen
- Know-how in Big Data Architekturen (Data Lakes, Delta Lakes, DWH, ETL/ELT, Streaming-Technologien)
- Erfahrung mit Programmierung & Automatisierung (Python, Scala, SQL, Terraform, CI/CD)
- Reisebereitschaft innerhalb der DACH-Region
- Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse (C1)
Desired Qualifications
- Kenntnisse in MLOps, DBT oder Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
