Job Summary
Develop and improve data ingestion and product frameworks while designing scalable governance and access controls using Unity Catalog. Act as the primary Databricks expert to support and coach development teams, evaluating new capabilities to enhance platform performance. Contribute to building a secure, user-friendly data platform for analytics and AI by creating reusable frameworks and improving developer experience. Collaborate with engineers and architects across teams to influence technical direction and engineering practices.
Required Qualifications
- Several years of experience working as a Data Engineer with Databricks in production environments
- Strong expertise in Apache Spark, Python, and SQL
- Experience with Unity Catalog, data governance, and modern data platform architecture
- A background in building reusable frameworks and platform components
- The ability to collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders across different teams
- Strong communication skills
- A passion for knowledge sharing and technical coaching
