Job Summary
Design and implement scalable data lakes and ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load multi-modal sensor data into structured warehouses. Build robust indexing systems for raw and extracted data, establish automated validation workflows, and integrate labeling tools into the data loop using active learning and crowdsourcing. Collaborate with algorithm and software teams to ensure data integrity, traceability, and reproducibility across large datasets. Requires MSc/BSc degree with 3+ years in computer science or robotics, proficiency in Python, and experience with Parquet, Pandas, or Spark. Located in Ha Noi or Ho Chi Minh City with competitive compensation and premium healthcare benefits.
Required Qualifications
- MSc/BSc degree
- 3+ years of industrial experience in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Robotics and/or similar technical field
- Proficiency in Python
- strong software engineering skills
- Comfortable in building data processing pipelines tailored for ML training pipelines
- Knowledge of (at least one) of the Parquet, Pandas, Spark frameworks
- Solid understanding of the main sensor modalities for self-driving (cameras, LiDAR, radar, GPS)
- Experience with establishing dataset version control
- Familiarity with cloud job orchestration, monitoring, and instrumentation best-practices
- Ability to solve hard problems and handle large amounts of heterogeneous data
- Must agree to VinFast's Personal Data Protection Policy
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in self-driving or ADAS development
- familiarity with functional safety standards (ISO 26262, SOTIF)
