Senior Data Engineer Consultant

Senior Data Engineer Consultant leading client engagements in data engineering, co-designing scalable data pipelines and architectures for large volumes of structured and unstructured data. Leverages cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and distributed frameworks (Spark, Kafka) to build robust data solutions, designs logical/physical data models across relational, NoSQL, time-series, and graph databases, and implements best practices for batch, streaming, and real-time integration. Applies DataOps and CI/CD to data workflows, mentors junior to medior consultants, supports business development through proposals and client relationships, and represents Sia at professional events. Requires strong communication, stakeholder management, and a fast learner with fluency in English, and Dutch or French is a must. Industry experience in energy and finance preferred.
