Job Summary
Lead client engagements as a Senior Consultant in Data Engineering; design and implement robust, scalable data pipelines and architectures for large volumes of structured and unstructured data; leverage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and distributed frameworks (Spark, Kafka); model data across relational, NoSQL, time-series, and graph databases; implement batch, streaming, and real-time data integration; apply DataOps and CI/CD practices to data services; develop and enhance Sia's Data Engineering offerings; represent the firm at events and contribute to thought leadership; drive business development and foster long-term client relationships; supervise and mentor junior to medior consultants; communicate complex ideas clearly to varied audiences; English fluency required with Dutch or French fluency; strong interest in data and AI, and adaptability for international project exposure.
Required Qualifications
- Completed WO Master's degree in Data Science, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, (Energy) Engineering, or a related technical field involving substantial programming.
- 3-6 years of relevant professional experience (or equivalent academic research).
- Fluency in English, with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Dutch or French fluency is a must.
