Job Summary
Develop, test, and implement data solutions based on approved architectural designs while working across the full Microsoft data toolset. Prepare detailed documentation describing solution functions and operations for team reference. Collaborate effectively within project teams adhering to established standards, providing technical guidance to junior members and assisting with user acceptance testing and client interactions as required. Manage responsibilities independently within agreed timelines, leveraging experience in consulting environments with adaptability across multiple client settings.
Required Qualifications
- National Diploma: Information Technology
- 5+ years exposure to data warehousing and Kimball methodology
- 5+ years experience with Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS
- Strong SQL and ETL skills
- Experience using Azure DevOps
- Experience working in a consulting environment with proven adaptability across multiple client environments
- Microsoft certified professional
Desired Qualifications
- Azure data services experience is advantageous Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Bricks
- Experience with some Data Visualisation is advantageous e.g. Power BI
- Any exposure to machine learning, specifically Python, would be advantageous
