Job Summary
Maintain and evolve data structures, build new ETL flows, and optimize stored procedures within our in-house Sportsbook data platform. Design data modelling concepts, ensure data quality through validation methods, and investigate message-based architectures for data streams. Troubleshoot incidents with an investigative mindset, document processes, and work closely with stakeholders to deliver accurate insights. Operate under Agile Scrum iterations while taking full ownership of projects across global teams in Malta, Budapest, Stockholm, Tallinn, and Athens. Requires advanced T-SQL, MSSQL, and ETL expertise.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced T-SQL Coding
- Relational and non-relational DBs (proven experience in MSSQL 2014 – 2017)
- Familiar with ETL process (SSIS)
- Familiar with DWH and ETL concepts
- Familiar with Data Modelling concepts
- Familiar with Reporting and Analytical Tools (SSRS/SSAS)
- Familiar with software versioning tools like Git
- Be experienced and knowledgeable in core database development tuning techniques
- Comfortable working under Agile Framework (Scrum 2-week iterations)
- Have an investigative mindset to be able to troubleshoot – being creative when it comes to troubleshooting problems and incident management
- Can effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
