Job Summary
Architect data pipelines and analytics platforms on AWS using EMR, Glue, Redshift, and Athena. Implement streaming and real-time workflows with Kinesis, Kafka, and Lambda, while building ETL/ELT frameworks via AWS Step Functions. Manage data lakes on S3 and Lake Formation to ensure cost-efficient scaling, and collaborate with AI/ML teams to deliver training data and inference-ready datasets. Design systems aligned with the AWS Well-Architected Framework, incorporating monitoring, security, and governance. This role supports enterprise-grade AI agents within a fast-growing Data and AI Foundry focused on Agentic Systems, where you will architect trusted data platforms accelerating the transition to AI + Human Intelligence.
Required Qualifications
- 5–8 years of data engineering
- 3+ years AWS-specific experience
- Strong expertise in AWS data services (S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, Kinesis)
- Proficiency in Python, PySpark, Java/Scala, and SQL
- Knowledge of Terraform/CloudFormation for infrastructure-as-code
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with AI pipelines, vector databases, and agentic workloads
- AWS Data Analytics Specialty or Solutions Architect certification
