Job Summary
Senior Data Engineer/Architect to design and govern cloud data infrastructure; build data flows, data pipelines, databases, and data lakes; establish current and future state architecture and a transformational roadmap; implement data governance and quality disciplines; develop data models and business glossary; optimize ETL processes to support organization data needs; collaborate with technology and business partners to align with strategy and drive scalable, reliable data solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience engineering and leading data initiatives (data profiling, improvement, accuracy, completeness, integrity, security, stewardship, and governance)
- Proficient knowledge of data quality tools and governance disciplines
- Knowledge of data modeling and process modeling conventions
- Programming in Python, Java, or Scala; SQL and database technologies
- Experience with Hadoop, Spark, or Hive
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and ETL
- Experience with data modeling and data governance
