Senior / Data Engineer and Business Analyst – Automation, Analytics & AI

Job Summary
Lead end-to-end data solutions for Clinical Research, designing and maintaining data pipelines and automation to enable AI-driven initiatives. Role combines data engineering, analytics, and dashboard development, and operates at country level to identify, design, and deliver automation, analytics, and AI initiatives. Develop business cases, build or oversee country tools, and scale fit-for-purpose solutions to other countries or regions. Ensure compliance with ICH GCP and local regulations; collaborate with CRD, AA & AI Lead, ROE, IT, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities include end-to-end solution design and delivery (dashboards, workflow automation, AI-assisted processes), data analytics and visualization, lifecycle management, change enablement, governance, and cross-country scaling. Required skills include process modeling, BI tooling, SQL, RPA, and strong stakeholder engagement; preferred experience across multiple countries and in regional programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in science discipline, computing science, engineering, mathematical, statistics or related field
- Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in building end-to-end data pipelines and analytics
- Experience delivering automation/analytics/AI-enabled solutions (dashboards, workflow automation, AI/ML solutions, ETL processes)
- Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders with hands-on project management in a matrix environment
- Proficiency with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) and data querying basics (SQL)
- Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation and exposure to AI/ML use cases in clinical operations
- Strong communication in English and ability to influence across functions
- Experience leading change management for local deployments and training plans
